VermiMax

MORE THAN JUST FERTILISER

An organic-mineral and MAP fertiliser range designed to help growers evaluate lower conventional MAP inputs while supporting a soil-focused approach to crop nutrition.

A different approach

Crop nutrition is more than a bag of fertiliser.

VermiMax brings together conventional starter nutrition and an organic-mineral granule in one blended product.

The Vermi Granule 531 component contains 50% worm castings, 35% premium compost and 15% natural rock phosphate. It contributes organic carbon and mineral nutrients. The MAP component provides readily available nitrogen and phosphorus for early crop growth.

VermiMax is intended to give growers and agronomists another option when designing a fertiliser program suited to their soil, yield target and budget.

Choose the blend

Three formulations. One soil-focused concept.

Different proportions of organic-mineral material and MAP let growers evaluate different nutrient-input strategies.

70/30

VermiMax 70/30

70% Vermi Granule 531 + 30% MAP

70% organic-mineral component · 30% MAP

$1,130/t ex GST

Our lead blend for assessing a substantial reduction in conventional MAP use.

60/40

VermiMax 60/40

60% Vermi Granule 531 + 40% MAP

70% organic-mineral component · 30% MAP

$1,195/t ex GST

A higher proportion of conventional starter nutrients.

50/50

VermiMax 50/50

50% Vermi Granule 531 + 50% MAP

50% organic-mineral component · 50% MAP

$1,260/t ex GST

An option with an equal split between the two components.

Prices exclude GST, freight and application. Equal application rates of different blends do not provide equivalent plant-available phosphorus.

Why growers are interested

Consider the whole cropping system.

Less conventional MAP by weight

VermiMax 70/30 contains 30% MAP, allowing a lower MAP ingredient input at an equal total product rate.

Organic-mineral ingredients

Worm castings, compost and rock phosphate contribute organic carbon and mineral nutrients.

Transparent cost comparisons

Compare product cost per hectare and total farm expenditure with conventional MAP.

Agronomist-led evaluation

Assess soil phosphorus status, nutrient supply and seed-placement safety before changing programs.

Experience from the paddock

Encouraging observations. A reason to keep testing.

In historical side-by-side wheat comparisons using straight Vermi Granule 531 and straight MAP, growers observed faster initial growth with MAP. Vermi Granule crops often caught up after approximately two weeks.

Reported final yields were generally similar, with some Vermi Granule treatments slightly ahead. In some comparisons, grain protein was reported approximately
1.0–1.5 percentage points higher.

These are historical field observations, not replicated proof of yield or protein benefits. They do not establish performance for the new VermiMax blends. Crop management and other inputs may have influenced outcomes; no grain grade or yield result is guaranteed.
